Community Day events run simultaneously worldwide for a 3-hour window, but the exact start time varies by region — typically 2:00 PM local time. Check PokéEvent's event card for your region; it shows the live countdown and local start/end times calculated from IANA timezone data.

Community Day dates are announced per-quarter by Niantic. As of mid-2026, announced or widely rumored Community Day windows include Sobble in July. Check PokéEvent's event section for the confirmed Community Day calendar with regional timers.

In-person Community Days run for 3 hours in a single window per region. The featured Pokémon spawns at an increased rate, its shiny form is available, and a special charged move is unlocked for evolution during and for 1 hour after the event window ends.

Niantic sometimes sells a paid Community Day ticket for 1,000 PokéCoins that grants a special research quest chain with additional encounters, bonuses, and a guaranteed evolution item. The ticket is worth it only if the extra encounters and move tutorial align with your collection goals. The free spawns and bonuses still apply without purchase.
