GO Fest 2026 Raid Makeup Event Guide (July 26, 2026)

GO Fest 2026 Raid Makeup Fixes the Sunday Raid Outage

The GO Fest 2026 Raid Makeup event runs Sunday, July 26, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time, compensating Trainers who hit raid-join errors during GO Fest 2026: Global. For eligible regions (Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, up to and including UTC+0), the full Sunday raid lineup returns — including Mega Mewtwo Y Super Mega Raids. The unlimited Remote Raid removal, however, applies to all Trainers worldwide, making this a global catch-up opportunity.

Who Is Eligible — and What Everyone Gets

  • Eligible regions (UTC+14 through UTC+0): Full Sunday raid makeup with Mega Mewtwo Y Super Mega Raids and the complete Legendary rotation.
  • All Trainers worldwide: No Remote Raid limit from Saturday, July 25 at 1:00 p.m. PDT to Sunday, July 26 at 12:00 p.m. PDT.

The original outage did not consume Raid Passes, but it blocked Trainers from joining raids normally — hence the makeup rather than a full rerun.

Makeup Bonuses

  • Up to nine free Raid Passes per day from Gym Photo Disc spins
  • More effective Premier Balls for post-raid catches
  • Link Charge cap increased to 2,000
  • Special Backgrounds possible from five-star and Mega Raids, plus Mewtwo from Super Mega Raids

Road of Legends Deluxe Pass holders also get +5,000 XP, +3 Candy, and +1 Candy XL from five-star-and-up raids during the event.

The Raid Lineup (Three-Hour Blocks)

The Sunday rotation returns in three windows:

Time (local) Featured bosses
10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Regirock, Regice, Registeel, Origin Dialga, Origin Palkia, Heatran, Regigigas, Tornadus, Thundurus, Landorus, Enamorus, Regieleki, Regidrago
1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Deoxys, Genesect, Nihilego, Buzzwole, Pheromosa, Xurkitree, Celesteela, Kartana, Guzzlord, Necrozma, Stakataka, Blacephalon, Tapu Koko/Lele/Bulu/Fini
4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Latias, Latios, Cresselia, Darkrai, Cobalion, Terrakion, Virizion, Zacian, Zamazenta

Mega Mewtwo Y appears in Super Mega Raids throughout, with up to 10 shields — bring a Mega Evolved Pokémon (not a Primal) to break each shield.

Best Plan for the Makeup

  1. Pre-build a Mewtwo counter roster (Bug, Dark, Ghost types) before 10:00 a.m.
  2. Use unlimited Remote Raids to hit every region's boss pool if you missed Global.
  3. Spin Gyms for nine free passes to stretch your Remote Raid stack.
  4. Prioritize Special Background hunts on five-star and Mega raids.

Final Thought

The Raid Makeup is a rare "second chance" at GO Fest Sunday — and the worldwide Remote Raid lift means even ineligible regions can raid hard that weekend. Assemble your counters, top off your passes, and grab that Shiny Mewtwo. Happy hunting, trainers!
